They may have also been using boards with early firmware and due to Behringer releasing it in early stages do design around user feedback the early firmware was rather barbones. I could expect users of X/M32 boards expecting things to be similar and then correlating that to being haphazard but the Wing is definitely an entirely different mixer and will require some time spent getting comfortable with a different workflow but really the same can be said going from one brands mixer to another. I mean, the X/M32 is basically the Mackie VLZ these days. I think ubiquity does say a lot that nearly all of us can walk up to an X/M32 and put together a decent sounding mix in about 15 minutes or so. Now, having said all of that, I own an M32R/S16 combo. With a great deal of flexibility comes a greater deal of pain points, so I can see why not everyone is a big fan of the Wing. Having only touched one in real life for about 10 minutes, however, I reserve my judgment on that. Considering how Samsung treats their customer via so called customer service really soured my tasted on any Harman stuff, not that I was a big fan to begin with.Īs for the Wing, I've heard that the workflow is a bit haphazard at best and very difficult to slap your brains around at worst. I've pretty much given up on any Harman goods these days save for a DBX DriveRack 2 ever since they got eaten by Samsung for breakfast. r/broadcastengineering - Broadcast Engineering.r/projection_mapping - Projection Mapping. You might find these other subreddits useful: These rules are implemented at the moderators' discretion.
